Press officer of the Azerbaijan Defense Ministry Teymur Abdullayev
has commented on the Armenian media reports. Armenian media reports
claim that Armenian civilian Araik Nelsonovich Balasanyan died from
a bullet received from the Azerbaijan side on the contact line of
troops on 11 May.
Balasanyan is said to receive a gunshot wound to the head at about
18:05 on 11 May while working on a tractor in the south-eastern
section of the contact line.
33-year-old resident of Kuratag village of Hadrut region died on a
way to Hadrut civilian hospital, according to Armenian media.
Press officer of the Azerbaijan Defense Ministry Teymur Abdullayev
said ceasefire was not violated in this direction on 11 May and no
fire was opened.
The Armenian side~Rs claims that the Azerbaijani side has shot at
Armenian tractor driver are untrue, he added.
