Ward and Abraham will fight in Los Angeles for a place in the final
Arthur Abraham has admitted that his career hangs on Saturday's Super
Six semi-final against WBA super-middleweight champion Andre Ward.
The Armenian-born German, 31, has lost his previous two Super Six
bouts, to Britain's Carl Froch and Andre Dirrell.
Froch, who beat Abraham in November to regain his WBC
super-middleweight title, faces Glen Johnson in the other semi-final
on Saturday, 4 June.
"It'll be a make-or-break fight," said Abraham. "For me, it's
everything."
American Ward has an unbeaten record with 23 wins including 13
knockouts.
Abraham's two Super Six defeats are his only losses in 32 bouts,
with 26 of his victories coming by way of knockout.
He held the IBF middleweight crown from 2005-09, making 10 successful
defences.
