ARMROSGASPROM: NUMBER OF NATURAL GAS CONSUMERS IN ARMENIA EXCEEDS 615,614

YEREVAN, May 13. /ARKA/. The number of natural gas consumers in
Armenia exceeds 615,614, ArmRosgasprom Company's press office reported
on Friday.
According to the report, the number of gas consumers rose by 2,723
over the first four months of this year. Of them, 622 joined the gas
network in April.
ArmRosgasprom CJSC established in 1997 enjoys the sole right for
importing and distributing Russian natural gas in Armenia.
The company's shareholders are Russian Gazprom OJSC and the Armenian
government. Russia conveys its gas to Armenia through Georgia's
territory.
