US COURT ORDERS TURKISH GOVERNMENT TO REPLY TO THE SUE OF HEIRS OF VICTIMS OF THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE WITHIN 21 DAYS

US court, examining the sue of three American Armenian heirs against
the Government of Turkey, the Central Bank of Turkey and Ziraat
Bankasi, ordered the latter to reply to the sue within 21 days.
Head of "Vardges Yeghiayan and Bar Group" office Vardges Yeghiayan
told Armenpress that the sue was submitted by Alex Bakalian, Anais
Haroutunian and Rita Mahdessian who are asking for 64 million Dollars,
in reparation for the property value as well as the derived earnings.
The sue relates to the "fig farm" area now known as Incirlik. Since
1951, the area in question is being used as a NATO/US air force base.
