3RD REPORT ON THE MONITORING OF NA ACTIVITY PRESENTED IN YEREVAN

The 3rd report on the "Monitoring of the legislative Activity of
the Political Forces was represented in the National Assembly" was
presented in Yerevan today. The program is being implemented by the
"Mandat" NGO with the support of the "Partnership for Open Society"
Institute.
The innovations of the www.parliamentmonitoring.am website were also
presented. The website allows to fix the number of absences of the
MPs and provides an opportunity to follow their activity.
Head of the Transparency International anti-corruption center Varuzhan
Hoktanyan attached importance to the program from the point of view
of fighting corruption.
"Corruption can be overcome thanks to transparency, and this program
makes the activity of the parliament more transparent," he said.
