On May 18, already the 34th time, in the world is celebrated the
International Museum Day. It is a holiday, which is connected with
every nation's spiritual heritage and historical-cultural memory and is
the testimony to the fact how the nations retain thei cultural wealth.
Due to its museums, the exhibits of which are added all the time,
Armenia has a unique wealth, and it's a peculiar contribution in the
history of the world culture and development of civilization. It is
a valuable visit card coming from the history of the past and going
to the history of the future.
Museums are special bridges between times and cultures, there not
only values are kept, but also scientific-enlightening serious work
is done, in the face of their laborious scholars.
On the International Museum Day I congratulate all those, who with
their work and drive of soul are connected with museums. I wish you
creative successes, welfare and happiness.
