Karabakh conflict settlement by force is impossible, the chief research
engineer at the Institute of World Economy and International Relations,
Russian Academy of Sciences believes.
In a conversation with a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, Victor Sheynis
reminded about the sad results military adventures led to, citing
Georgia's aggression against Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
At the same time, the expert specifically noted Russia's support for
Karabakh. "The settlement of Karabakh conflict requires intensive
efforts, with Russia's support acting as a restrictive factor to
Azerbaijan. Were it not for this support, Aliyev would have attempted
a military adventure long ago," Sheynis stressed.
