STUDENTS' CONFERENCE ON ARMENIA'S ECONOMY PLANNED IN TSAKHKADZOR

With the assistance of the Armenia's Youth Foundation the Students'
Council of Armenia's State Economic University will conduct "Armenia's
Economy Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow" students' conference in Tsakhkadzor
May 20-22. Public relations office of the Foundation told Armenpress
that the program aims at assessing and forecasting the future of the
country's economy through reports and discussions, drawing parallels
between past and present. Another goal of the event is to involve
noticeable students in the establishments carrying out economic
policy who with their contemporary views will help the development
of the country.
About 30 reports on the country's agriculture, industry, tourism,
banking, insurance, IT, monopoly, etc. will be presented.
The conference consists of three parts. The authors of best report
of each part will get diplomas and prizes.
Within the framework of the event meeting-discussion with the chairman
of the NA's finance-budget affairs standing committee Gagik Minasyan,
deputy finance minister Pavel Safaryan will take place. Meetings
with Education and Science Minister Armen Ahotyan, chairman of the
NA's science, education, culture, youth and sport affairs standing
committee Artak Davtyan are expected.
