AVERAGE APRICOT HARVEST EXPECTED THIS YEAR

The Ministry of Agriculture is conducting a monitoring in the whole
territory of the republic to specify the harms caused by hail and
the agricultural situation in the country. Minister of Agriculture
Sergo Karapetyan said at a briefing today that it is being done to
have an idea about the volume of fruits, corn.
The minister said that though certain communities have suffered
damages as a result of hail this year an average volume of apricot
is expected. As to the grape, its harvest will be high.
