Talking to journalists during the briefing, the leader of Prosperous
Armenia Gagik Tsarukyan said his party will not run for parliamentary
elections on a mixed ticket with Republican Party.
Tsarukyan stressed that being the second party in the parliament
Prosperous Armenia does not need to unite with any political force.
He also added that Prosperous Armenia party signed coalition agreement
for Serzh Sargsyan to feel confident during international talks.
Asked whether he will run for presidential election, Tsarukyan replied
he would inform about it later.
The new coalition agreement signed by the RPA, Prosperous Armenia
Party and Orinats Yerkir party on 17 February supposes supporting of
a single candidate at the presidential election 2013.
