AMNESTY LED TO INTERPENETRATION OF STREET OPPOSITION AND AUTHORITIES IN ARMENIA-OPPOSITIONAL MP

YEREVAN. - Declaration of amnesty led to interpenetration of street
opposition and authorities under the pretext of a dialogue, MP from
Armenian Revolutionary Federation Dashnaktsutyun (ARFD) Artsvik
Minasyan stated in the Armenian National Assembly on Tuesday,
commenting on Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan's initiative on
amnesty.
"This is another manifestation of this amnesty," Minasyan said. The
MP hailed this move important from humanistic point of view, calling
it politically "belated". Minasyan emphasized it is necessary to
develop strategy on declaration of amnesty. He also referred to legal
contradictions in the document.
