The Republican Party of Armenia has not decided yet whether it will
participate in the coming parliamentary elections alone or in an
alliance. Speaking at the National Assembly Prime Minister Tigran
Sargsyan said that many non-governmental organizations and parties
have already applied in connection with it and expressed wish to go
to elections together. "It is very natural as participation in the
elections with strong party guarantees successes. But as far as the
Republican party has not discussed the issue we will respond to the
request after discussion", Tigran Sargsyan said.
In response to the news circulating in press that he is the one to
top the list of the party in the parliamentary elections, Tigran
Sargsyan offered to wait.
Earlier leader of the "Prosperous Armenia" party Gagik Tsarukyan
stated that his party will participate in the elections alone.
