TIGRAN SARGSYAN HIGHLY ASSESSES CONTRIBUTION OF US AMBASSADOR TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF US- ARMENIA RELATIONS

Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan had a farewell meeting with outgoing
US Ambassador to Armenia Marie Yovanovitch.
Government's Press Office reported that the Prime Minister expressed
gratitude to Ambassador Yovanovitch for the work she has done
during her tenure and wished success in her future activity. Tigran
Sargsyan highly appreciated her personal contribution to the programs
implemented in Armenia with the support of the United States.
The US Ambassador, in her turn, assessed the years of her tenure
in Armenia as productive and expressed confidence that the
Armenian-American cooperation will continue to develop dynamically.
"The US is interested in deepening its relations with Armenia,"
Yovanovitch stated.
During the meeting the interlocutors exchanged thoughts over a number
of issues of mutual interest.
