Former servicemen Colonel Viktor M., participant of Karabakh war,
shot to death his family and then committed a suicide in the Ukrainian
city of Donetsk.
The 70-year-old pensioner first killed his wife, then 25-year-old
granddaughter and son-in-law. Then, he tried to kill his daughter
but she managed to pull the gun.
Law enforcers stormed the building when he killed himself with a knife.
"He participated in Karabakh and Chechnya wars, was a professor
at Law Institute before retiring," law enforcers told Ukrainian
Segodnya.ua website.
They stressed the reason for murder was Viktor's mental health. He
left a message saying "I cannot live this way anymore."
