TBILISI. - Georgia's Deputy FM categorically denies the information
that Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan is offended by Georgian
President Mikheil Saakashvili, and that is why Sargsyan's visit to
Tbilisi is postponed, Gruzia Online news agency reported.
"I want to assure you that this information does not correspond to
reality," Georgia's Deputy FM Nino Kalandadze stated on Monday.
In her words, Armenian President's visit is not postponed; simply,
its final date was not determined. And now activities are carried
out in that direction.
The media had disseminated news that President Sargsyan had taken
offense at Mikheil Saakashvili for the latter's recent declaration
with respect to the tragedy as a result of the landslide that occurred
at the Armenian-Georgian highway. Georgia's President had noted that
the corresponding Armenian services were operating too slowly.
