PanARMENIAN.Net - Democratic Party of Armenia (DPA) leader believes
tension in Armenia's domestic policy will continue till 2012
parliamentary election.
As Aram Sargsyan told a news conference in Yerevan, the ruling
Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) failed to resolve the country's
issues. "DPA's hands are tied, as many of those who led the country
to a crisis are affiliated with coalition," Sargsyan said.
In this connection, DPA leader suggested formation of an alliance
consisting of political forces and experts to work out a 2-year
anti-crisis program.
As RPA member Hovhannes Sahakyan noted, in turn, Armenian
President Serz Sargsyan supports the idea of cooperation, with
government-initiated events and round table discussions to prove the
above. Sahakyan disagreed with DPA leader as to tensions in domestic
policy, characterizing the situation as stable.
