YEREVAN. - Armenia's Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan
hosted newly appointed US Ambassador John Heffern. They discussed
the opening of the American Investigation Center.
The Mister congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and wished
him productive work, the press service of the Ministry of Education
and Science informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.
The Minister appreciated the cooperation of the two countries in the
education area and stressed the effectiveness of the US education
system which is now applied in Armenia. The Ambassador thanked the
Minister for the reception and expressed willingness to support the
continuity of the education programs between the two countries. The
opening of an American Investigation Center was also discussed during
the meeting.
At the end of the meeting the sides expressed eagerness to continue
the programs in process and to come up with new ones.
