JUSTICE MINISTER HOPES ARMENIA WILL AGAIN BE INCLUDED IN MCC

Armenia's Minsiter of Justice, Hrayr Tovmasyan, has said he hopes the
reforms Armenia is making will create favorable conditions for the
country to again be included in the Millennium Challenges Corporation
program.
At the meeting with newly-appointed US Ambassador to Armenia, John
Heffern, Tovmasyan congratulated him on his new appointment, adding
that by appointing such an experienced diplomat to the position the
US proves it attaches importance to relations with Armenia.
Tovmasyan highly rated the US-Armenia relations and expressed hope
that the cooperation based on good grounds will be effective in the
future too.
Upon Heffern's request Tovmasyan briefed him on the current and
planned reforms in the republic, as well as in the field of justice.
The justice minister singled out a series of implemented reforms that
have already yielded results.
John Heffern, in turn, thanked Tovmasyan for the reception and
assured that he will continue the work of his predecessor Marie
Yovanovitch and will contribute to further deepening and enhancement
of Armenian-US relations.
