UNCONFIRMED REPORTS SAY VICE PM GEVORGYAN RESIGNS

PanARMENIAN.Net - According to unconfirmed reports, Vice Prime Minister
of Armenia, Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan
resigned his post.
Rumors on Gevorgyan~Rs resignation have been afloat since Armenian
Police Chief Alik Sargsyan was relieved of his position.
The reports on Gevorgyan resignation, however, were denied by the
latter~Rs spokesman today.
On November 1, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan signed a decree to
relieve Armenian Police Chief, lieutenant general Alik Sargsyan of
his duties and to appoint him as a presidential advisor.
By another decree, lieutenant general Vladimir Gasparyan was dismissed
as the Deputy Defense Minister and was appointed to the post of
Armenian Police Chief at the government of Armenia.
