PHILIP GORDON: US CONTINUES TO EXERT EFFORTS IN THE DIRECTION OF REGULATION OF ARMENIAN- TURKISH RELATIONS

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 1, ARMENPRESS: The regulation of Armenian-Turkish
relations will be useful for the entire region, Assistant Secretary
for Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs Philip Gordon stated,
Armenpress reports, citing the Turkish mass media.
Delivering speech at the session of the council of Turkish-American
platform, Mr. Gordon referred to Turkish-American and regional issues.
Stressing the fact that the USA continues to exert efforts directed
toward regulation of Armenian-Turkish relations, the Assistant
Secretary said that improvement of the relations of the two countries
will be useful not only for Turkey and Armenia, but for the entire
region as well.
