ARMENIA CONCERNED ABOUT POSSIBLE ECONOMIC CRISIS
The Messenger, Georgia
Nov 2 2011
An industrial leader in Armenia, Vazgen Saparian , stated recently
that Armenia should be ready for new global economic crises which
eventually could reach Armenia via Russia. According to Saparian
Armenia's economy is very closely linked to Russia and economic
problems could be easily transferred to Armenia from Russia. There
are 1200 Russian-Armenian joint ventures in Armenia; in case of a
serious economic crisis they will have acute financial problems, so
Saparian recommends that serious measures be taken by the Armenian
Government to avoid such developments.
