Former Police chief Alik Sargsyan is surprised why the president
should fire him if they had met the previous day and the president
didn't even mention anything about it.
This is not the first time when an official is fired and is not
informed about it the way he had to be. This becomes a behavior and
culture in Armenia.
It hard to say whether this is a way of solving problems or a caprice.
But, besides all, this sort of behavior is hard to understand. As
after all we are dealing with a person and his dignity. We must
respect unwritten rules.
This means that the authorities see these people as screws and they
can throw them out any time.
