NEW CHIEF OF ARMENIA'S POLICE ADOPTS FRESH WORK STYLE

Staff purging is nothing but stress without any positive results,
the newly appointed Chief of Armenia's police Vladimir Gasparyan told
the Hraparak newspaper.
"We are going to modify our work style. I think everything will sort
itself out," he said.
As regards the tasks he is setting himself, Gasparyan said: "I will
continue the reforms. They will bring about changes in society, which
is the people's desire. There will be rule of law, and everyone will
be equally protected by law," he said.
