BATTALION TO FIGHT AGAINST PKK ESTABLISHED IN AZERBAIJAN

Head of the Union of Azerbaijan Patriotic War Veterans Fizuli
Rzaguliyev said that they have established a battalion of volunteers
to fight against PKK in Turkey.
Rzaguliyev told Yeni Musavat that he is going to appeal to the
Ambassador of Turkey to Azerbaijan to get the possibility to fight
against PKK.
"We consider Turkey as the homeland of Azerbaijanis and Azerbaijan -
the homeland of Turks, therefore we are ready to fight for Turkey,"
he said.
It is widely known that top Azerbaijani officials finance PKK. The
Turkish authorities have repeatedly raised the issue of their
extradition, producing irrefutable evidence that high-ranking
Azerbaijani officials support Kurdish militants, however, the
Azerbaijani authorities refuse to meet them halfway.
