EUROPEAN UNION ONLY SUPPORTS OSCE MINSK GROUP'S EFFORTS IN KARABAKH PEACE PROCESS

In the Karabakh peace process the European Union only supports
the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group, says the declaration adopted
during the 12th sitting of the Standing Parliamentary Commission on
Armenia-EU cooperation.
Upon completion of the sitting, Chairwoman of the Standing
Parliamentary Commission on Armenia-EU cooperation, Naira Zohrabyan,
told journalists that the declaration touches on the issue of Karabakh
peace process. "The declaration also states Turkey's destructive
stance in its attempts to link the issue of normalization of the
Armenian-Turkish relations with the resolution of the Karabakh
conflict", Zohrabyan said.
In addition, the declaration demands that the upcoming elections in
Armenia should be fair and transparent and that relevant work should
be done to raise the public confidence in the electoral process.
