DASHNAK REPS MEET US AMBASSADOR TO ARMENIA JOHN HEFFERN

Members of the Bureau of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation
(Dashnaktsutyun, ARF-D) have met newly-appointed US Ambassador to
Armenia John Heffern and US Embassy's chief of political affairs
Christopher Andersen.
During the meeting that lasted more than an hour, ARF-D representatives
Hrant Margaryan, Vahan Hovhannisyan and Levon Lazarian discussed with
US diplomats issues related to Armenia's domestic political situation,
economy, as well as regional issues.
The ARF-D members also briefed the US diplomats on their party's
stance and their assessments of political events in the country.
The sides agreed to continue meetings also in the future to discuss
both general and specific issues.
