Ankara has very interesting ideas concerning the resolution of the
Karabakh conflict, Sabine Freizer, Europe program director of the
International Crisis Group said in Baku.
She noted, however, that "if Turkey wants to make any contribution
to the negotiations on Nagorno Karabakh conflict, to join the process
from positive aspect, it first of all should normalize the relations
with Armenia."
Sabine Freizer underlined that no serious improvement was expected
towards the resolution of the conflict in the coming two years.
"Elections will be held in the co-chairing countries - Russia, US
and France in the coming two years. Therefore, I think it is unlikely
that there will be any improvement in the negotiations," she said.
