Turkey will have big difficulties in the region in respect of moving
forward its proposals if the Armenian-Turkish borders remain closed,
Europe Program director of the International Crisis Group Sabine
Freizer stated, according to Azerbaijani media.
"We know that the issue of the reopening of the borders is currently
included in the agenda of Armenia and Turkey, and if Turkey wants
to play a positive role in the region, it must by all means improve
relations with Armenia," Freizer stated, adding that in the opposite
case, all other suggestions of Turkey will remain on the paper.
