ELECTIONS OF THE MAYOR OF YEREVAN TO TAKE PLACE ON NOVEMBER 15

The elections of the Mayor of Yerevan will take place on November 15.
The decision was made during today's sitting of the City Council.
The Mayor's position has been vacant after Karen Karapetyan filed
his resignation on October 28. He declared on November 2nd he was
refusing from the seat in the City Council, as well.
The Republican Party of Armenia has nominated First Deputy Mayor of
Yerevan Taron Margaryan for the Mayo's position.
