COOPERATION ON MIGRATION TO CONTINUE BETWEEN ARMENIA AND SWEDEN

Armenian vice PM, Minister of Territorial Administration Armen
Gevorgyan met with the Swedish Minister for Migration and Asylum
Policy Tobias Billstrom within the framework of the second Ministerial
conference on Building Migration Partnerships held in Poland.
The sides effectively cooperate within the agreement signed between
Armenian and Swedish governments on accepting back illegal emigrants,
Ministry's press service informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Armenia's participation in the Soderkoping process was stressed. The
sides touched upon the declaration signed between Armenia and EU on
October 27 this year. They stressed importance of the EU Twinning
project to be realized next year. The project aims to support Armenia
to improve migration management system to make it meet EU criteria.
