    TAX REFORM RATES IN ARMENIA ARE QUITE WEAK, AND THEIR RESULTS ARE UNSATISFACTORY

    The rates of tax administration reforms in Armenia are rather weak and
    their results are unsatisfactory, Tigran Grigoryan, Senior Consultant
    at Management Consulting Service of Ameria Group, told ArmInfo.

    The expert said that the introduction of the one-stop principle
    is one of the positive results of the tax reforms initiated by the
    Armenian Government in 2008. According to him, the given principle
    simplifies and accelerates the servicing of taxpayers and reduces the
    contact with the tax service employees. This principle has already been
    introduced in some territorial branches of the State Revenue Committee,
    "but serious work is do be done to introduce it everywhere", he said.

    Grigoryan also pointed out the introduction of e-invoice in Armenia.

    The economic entities are already using the new system and are pleased
    with this innovation.

    To note, Ameria CJSC is part of Ameria Group. It is actively engaged
    in the sphere of corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions;
    legal consulting, direct and portfolio investments, business planning,
    strategic and tax planning, financial consulting, state governing
    and reforms.
