JAPANESE FILM FESTIVAL TO BE HELD IN YEREVAN AND GYUMRI

A Japanese Film Festival will be held in Yerevan and Gyumri November
8-12. It has been organized by the Embassy of Japan in Armenia and
the "Hikari" Armenian-Japanese scientific, educational and cultural
center with the support of the Armenian Ministry of culture.
The opening ceremony will be attended by Japanese Ambassador to
Armenia Takehito Harada, a number of Japanese officials, the Armenian
Minister of Culture, representatives of the Yerevan City Hall, Armenian
Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Manasaryan, the Minister of Diaspora,
other officials.
Five full-length feature films will be presented at the festival. The
solemn opening ceremony will take place at Moscow Cinema on November 8.
