PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian midfielder Henrik Mkhitaryan was named
the best player in Shakhtar - Obolon match of the 16th round of
Ukrainian championship.
"These three points are vital for us," Shakhtar coach Mircea Lucescu
said after the match that ended 2-0.
"I can't say the game was spectacular. My players must have been more
preoccupied with the result, since we had to get a positive one. We
continuously alter the line-up due to those injured, thus causing
some lack of confidence, especially in the midfield. As for the ball
control in the middle of the park, the sides were on a par with each
other at times. But if we look at the offensive side and the scoring
chances created by both teams, I believe we fully deserve the three
points," he said, according to a report on the club's official website.
Gaining 39 points, Shakhtar are currently 2nd in the championship
standings, with 1 point behind the leaders, Dynamo Kyiv.
