ARMENIAN-INDIAN ITT CENTER IN YEREVAN

With the participation of Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan and Indian
State Minister of IT Sachin Pilot November 7 at the Yerevan State
University Armenian-Indian Information and Telecommunication Technology
center opened within the framework of the agreement signed between the
governments of Armenia and India. The goal of the center is to boost
bilateral cooperation in the ITT sphere and promote the development
of ITT sphere specialists, organize research works, etc.
Governmental press office reported that congratulating on the opening
of the center Prime Minister said that it will give new impetus to
the ITT research works and implementation of study programs.
Noting that the professors of the center were trained in India and
studied new methods of teaching the prime minister pointed out that
the experience they have gathered will be useful in the works of
development of Gyumri's techno-park. "The center will essentially
promote the development of the ITT sphere and reinforcement of the
Armenian-Indian relations and their further development," Tigran
Sargsyan said.
By the way the center has PARAM computer which is the only one in
the region. The prime minister said it will create an exclusive
opportunity for the implementation of new research works.
The center has been ensured with necessary infrastructures,
high-quality specialists and necessary devices.
