Armenia and Iran have joint programs and objectives to develop
cooperation in transport and energy sectors, Armenian Foreign Minister
Eduard Nalbandyan has said.
At a news conference held jointly with his Iranian counterpart, Ali
Akbar Salehi, FM Nalbandyan said the visit is a good opportunity to
continue the bilateral dialogue.
"There are good meetings in the frameworks of the intergovernmental
committee. The Foreign Ministries contribute to the implementation
of the programs," Nalbandyan said.
Both ministers agreed that Iran and Armenia do not have bilateral
problems or any border disputes commonly occurring between neighboring
states.
"Our efforts should be directed at developing and expanding the
bilateral ties. We will do our best to develop and deepen the
relationship," Salehi said.
