ARMENIAN AMBASSADOR MEETS CANADIAN MPS

On November 15 Armenian Ambassador to Canada Armen Yeganyan had
a meeting with members of the Canada-Armenia Friendship Group of
the Canadian Parliament. The Group has 18 members from the ruling
Conservative Party, the Liberal Party and the New Democratic Party.
The Armenian Ambassador presented the main directions of Armenia's
foreign policy and the contemporary challenges.
The parties attached importance to the reinforcement of
Armenian-Canadian friendship, particularly the development of
inter-parliamentary cooperation. The Ambassador expressed gratitude
to the MPs for recognition of the Armenian Genocide.
