ARMENIAN BOOK HOUSE TO OPEN IN MOSCOW IN MID-DECEMBER

Armenian Book House will open in Basmannaya st., 19, Moscow in
mid-December. The Armenian Book House will be analogous with the
Russian Book House located in Mashtots Avenue in Yerevan, the press
office of the Youth Association of CIS countries reported.
The Armenian Book House will host Armenian language classes. The Book
House will include a bookstore and Armenia Press Center which will
cooperate with the Yerevan-based Russia Press Center of the Russian
Book House. The Armenian Book House will also publish Armenian World
in Russia magazine which will cover issues related to the development
of Armenian-Russian political, cultural and economic ties.
The council of the Youth Association of CIS countries made a decision
to open ten Armenian Book Houses in Russian cities on October 1.
Andranik Nikoghosyan was elected president of the council in June.
