Nov. 15--Azerbaijan is integrating into Euro-Atlantic organizations,
but the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict seriously hampers the process,
Azerbaijani Parliamentary Speaker Ogtay Asadov said at a meeting with
Bulgarian President Georgi Parvanov in Baku today.
Asadov said Armenia, as an aggressor country, ignores the documents
adopted by the UN and other influential international organizations.
"The dynamics of Azerbaijan's development are higher than Armenia's,"
he said. "Despite this, we support the peaceful and just settlement
of the conflict. We hope that friendly countries will multiply their
efforts to resolve the conflict within international legal norms
and principles."
Parvanov visited the parliament during his official visit to Azerbaijan
on Nov. 15.
He familiarized with the conditions created for MPs. He visited the
hall devoted to national leader Heydar Aliyev.
