Former Prime Minister of Armenia Hrant Bagratyan dwelt on the 2012
budget today.
Bagratyan says that if the government stated the pensions will increase
by 10%, it forgets to mention that prices will increase by 15%. We
will have 5.5% price increase but no increase of budget salaries.
"Pensioners are not interested in the internet price decrease but
increase in food prices and utility fees", says Bagratyan adding that
so the Republicans say people will live 5% worse than now.
Dwelling on increase of taxes by 101 billion, Bagratyan says that
it is a lie that major business will be taxes. 45 billion of this
sum will be ensured through the inflation, other 50 billion by the
economic growth, and the taxes on luxury and progressive income will
provide 2.5 billion.
According to simple macroeconomic logic, the rich will live better
and the poverty will increase.
"Sack the Prime Minister, CB Head and the Minister of Finances",
urges Hrant Bagratyan to Serzh Sargsyan. "When the Minister of
Finances is asked whether the budget will be performed, he says if
weather in Europe is good, it will. This is logic beyond economics,
this is a way to mock the society", says Bagratyan.
"In 2010, the world recorded a 5% economic growth, while Armenia only
1, but they lie saying it was 2.6%", says Bagratyan. According to him,
the ruling class threw itself into the mines because the real estate
sale is bad. The population does not deal with the economic growth.
