FRENCH PROFESSOR WAS ADVISED NOT TO USE WORDS "ARMENIA" AND "KURD" IN TURKEY

French Embassy in Armenia with cooperation of German Embassy in Armenia
and Yerevan State University will present professor of Paris political
researches Alfred Grosser in Yerevan on November 18.
French Ambassador to Armenia Henri Rene announced about this during
the press-conference. The professor will deliver an open lecture on
theme "Tragedian past and constructive memory: French-German example
may become general". According to the Ambassador the entrance of the
lecture will be free.
Professor also presented at the press-conference and announced that
not only French-German relations, but also about Armenian-Turkish
relations.
Professor said that he was acquainted with the documents of Armenian
Genocide. Professor also knows the xenophobia which rules in Turkey
now.
He remembered that he was advised not to use words "Armenian" and
"Kurd" while he was in Turkey. "But I think that if Turkey wants to
be a part of European family, it must accept its past and express
tolerance", professor noted.
