HERITAGE: AFTER RESIGNATION OF PARLIAMENT SPEAKER, MEMBERS OF GOVERNMENT WILL FEEL THEMSELVES EASED IN PARLIAMENT

By playing a bubble game on the table PC during the parliament session
Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Armen Movsisyan showed that
the parliament is left without chairman, Stepan Safaryan, Head of
Heritage opposition party faction, told medial Thursday.
To recall, the minister was caught playing by the camera of a
TV channels. Commenting on the given incident at the request of
journalists, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said he was not informed
of that and promised to tackle the issue.
Safaryan said that despite the hot debates and conflicts between
Heritage Party members and Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan, he admits
that Abrahamyan with his strictness contributed to coordination and
discipline and efficient work of the parliament. In such conditions,
the government was failing to push through their bills. Now, the
government is sure that it will face no serious resistance and budget
hearings will "go with a run" and the new speaker will not demand any
changes to the budget not to lose his post. In fact, the government
members will behave themselves as they like, and the energy minister
is the best evidence of that, Safaryan said.
