LYUDMILA SARGSYAN: PROSPEROUS PARTY OF ARMENIA DISTURBS ARMENIAN PRESIDENT TO HOLD SNAP ELECTIONS

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan wants to hold snap elections in
Armenia, but some forces disturb him, Lyudmila Sargsyan, member of
the oppositional Armenian National Congress, said at today's press
conference in Yerevan.
"Serzh Sargsyan is dreaming of snap parliamentary elections, but
the Prosperous Armenia Party disturbs him to do that. The Republican
Party of Armenia is sure that Prosperous Armenia will participate in
the elections with its own party list; therefore the RPA is concerned
over the results of the snap elections", she said.
The oppositionist said that Orinats Yerkir Party will support the
RPA at the forthcoming parliamentary elections and the RPA will use
Orinats Yerkir as a reliable base.
To remind, the parliamentary election in Armenia will be held on 6
May 2012.
