We bring to your attention a part of the interview of ARF Bureau
representative Hrant Margaryan to "Yerkir" daily
-Each election is being held with a policy that somehow differs from
the previous one and, hence, dictates a new strategy. For instance,
the authorities announce that the coming elections are going to be
exceptionally transparent and will be politically different with
revolutionary quality. Is the Armenian Revolutionary Federation ready
for such elections and how real do you consider them to be?
-I would like to believe that everything will be as they are saying.
However, the experience shows that words and wors of these authorities
do not coincide. I can point out several speeches of the president
where he had created hope of changing something in this country
or beautiful words of the Prime minister which, by the way, didn't
come true.
That's why I don't have big hopes. Although, I repeat, I wish it was
like that.
And ARF is going to the elections with its social-economic platform,
the very thing that makes us different from all the other parties,
who believe in free market relationships, liberalism, etc... And we
have social projects and, hence, are alternative. The fact that people
nowadays are in bad condition and do not with to believe in any words,
is a different matter.
