Gerogian PM favors cooperation with Armenia in energy

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia and Georgia signed an intergovernmental
agreement compriseing 19 cooperation prospects.
During the press conference Gerogian Prime Minister Nikoloz Gilauri
stressed the importance of cooperation with Armenia in energy sector.
`We envisage restoration of high-voltage transmission to ensure the
safety of both countries,' Gilauri said.
Gerogian PM noted creation of a single base at border post as second
undelying issue in bilateral relations. In this context, his Armenain
counterpart stressed both countries' intention to start modernization
of three border posts in full compliance with European standards.
`The project will be implemented jointly with EU,' Sargsyan noted.
