ARMENIA'S ROLE IN CSTO SPELLED OUT

Armenia's role in the Collective Security Treaty Organisation was
spelled out in a special document that was signed today by the body's
Secretary General, Nikolay Bordyuzha, and the head of the Armenian
Security Council, Artur Bagdasaryan, RIA Novosti reports on Friday.
According to the document, 15 activities are going to be held this
year in the framework of Armenia's membership in the CSTO.
The CSTO is an intergovernmental military alliance which was signed up
to on 15 May 1992 by several post-Soviet republics. The organization
now includes Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan,
Russia and Tajikistan.
