    Sat 26 November 2011 08:27 GMT | 10:27 Local Time

Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry investigates the offer of visits to
Nagorno Karabakh by tourism companies of Germany, Belgium and France
    in 2012.

The statement came from spokesman Elman Abdullayev.

Belgian Beltravel, German Gigatour and French Oceanides offer tourism
packages to Karabakh on their websites.

The tourism agencies view Karabakh as a territory of Armenia and
provide broad information to tourists about these areas.

In this information, the monuments and cultural patterns in the
occupied lands of Azerbaijan are presented as Armenian.

It is noted that Karabakh is a land of Armenia and it proclaimed
independence after `liberation' in 1991. It is also stated that
Karabakh has a population of 145,000 people'.

Abdullayev said instructions were set to the Azerbaijani embassy of
    these countries regarding the issue.

'These illegal facts are prevented by us right after they emerge. We
are going to take in deep investigation of this issue'.
