SPIRITUAL LEADERS OF RUSSIA, ARMENIA, AZERBAIJAN MAY ISSUE STATEMENT ON KARABAKH IN YEREVAN

Yerevan, November 28, Interfax - Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and
All Russia has visited Yerevan, where the presidium of the CIS
Interreligious Council will take place on November 28-29.
Catholicos of All Armenia Karekin II met Patriarch Kirill at the
Yerevan international airport Zvartnots, an Interfax correspondent
has reported.
Allakhshukyur Pasha-zade, chairman of the Spiritual Directorate of
the Muslims of the Caucasus, arrived in Armenia earlier on Monday.
The Armenian Foreign Ministry told Interfax that the spiritual leaders
of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia will have a trilateral meeting
and will issue a statement addressing regional issues, including
Nagorno Karabakh.
