ARMENIAN FM, EU SPECIAL REPRESENTATIVE DISCUSS THE KARABAKH SETTLEMENT PROCESS

On November 28 Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received
EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in
Georgia, Ambassador Philippe Lefort.
The interlocutors discussed a broad range of issues related to
Armenia-EU cooperation. Reference was made to the results of the
recent visit of the EU High Commissioner for Foreign Affairs and
Security Policy, Catherine Ashton, to Armenia and the sitting of the
Armenia-EU Cooperation Council.
Edward Nalbandian and Philippe Lefort discussed the process of
settlement of the Karabakh conflict, particularly referring to the
reinforcement of trust between the conflicting parties.
Minister Nalbandian drew the attention of the guest to anti-Armenian
policy and the propagation of racial discrimination in Azerbaijan.
