Yerevan/Mediamax/. The schedule of matches of World Cup 2014 European
qualifying group "B" was discussed in Prague.
As the Football Federation of Armenia reported, the delegations arrived
at consensus after heated discussions. As a result, the schedule of
the Armenian National Team is as follows:
2012
September 7 - Malta- Armenia. September 11- Bulgaria - Armenia.
October 12 - Armenia- Italy.
2013
March 26 - Armenia - Czech Republic. June 7- Armenia - Malta.
June 11 - Denmark - Armenia. September 6 - Czech Republic - Armenia.
September 10- Armenia- Denmark. October 11 - Armenia- Bulgaria.
October 15 - Armenia - Italy.
As the Chief Coach of the Armenian National Team, Vardan Minasyan,
told Mediamax, the discussion lasted about 5 hours, but in the end
the teams arrived at consensus.
"Malta dragged out the signing of the protocols, however it finally
agreed," said Vardan Minasyan. The coach said the schedule almost
entirely meets his wishes.
"Not by 100%, as we were forced to make concessions, but finally
we got what we wanted," he said. According to Vardan Minasyan, the
Armenian delegation wanted to hold the first match against Malta,
because the main goalkeeper of the team Roman Berezovsky will miss
the game, as he was red-carded in the match against Ireland.
The delegations will meet this morning again to finally approve
the schedule.
