Some of President Serzh Sargsyan's formulations regarding the
Armenian-Turkish relations and the process of recognition of the
Armenian Genocide were very interesting, analyst Karen Bekaryan told
a press conference today, commenting on President's speech at the UN
General Assembly session.
The closed Armenian-Turkish border is a demonstration of hostility,
Karen Bekaryan said, adding that it's Turkey's turn to take a step.
The expert does not rule out that France may intensify its role in the
process of settlement of the Karabakh issue ahead of the parliamentary
and presidential elections in Russia.
"However, I believe, Russia won't fully abandon its mediatory role
in Karabakh settlement," the expert noted.
